Acquedotto Pugliese is led by our Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors (BoD) is the collective body with the broadest management powers and has the authority to perform all actions deemed appropriate for the achievement of the company’s objectives, except for those reserved for the competence of the shareholders' meeting.
The Board of Directors is responsible for running the business and implementing the decisions of the Assembly, working alongside the Coordination and Monitoring committee the body responsible for exercising joint control on behalf of the Member Municipalities. In particular:
- It approves organizational strategies,
- Develops management policies,
- Ensures the legal responsibility of the organization towards authorities.

Coordination and Monitoring committee
The Coordination and Monitoring committee is the body through which the Apulian municipalities exercise joint control over the Company as part of an in-house providing system. Its main responsibilities include management, supervision and control, prior approval of business plans, strategic programmes and balance sheets, as well as the authority to inspect the administrative body.
The Committee, in office for the three-year period 2026-2028, consists of 15 members:
